Frequently asked questions

Refund and Return Policy

Since each order is handmade to order, I will not be accepting returns or refunds on any products. However, if you receive your order with major damage, please contact me within 3 business days of order receipt and provide photos and detailed descriptions so I know how best to help you.

Note: minor imperfections are possible and are not seen as damage. Those could include minor imperfections in the vinyl or laminate, slightly uneven overhang, or minor color discrepancies in prints. Major damage would include major page tearing, detached cover, or extreme warping.

How long will it take to receive my order?

I am a mere mortal and a one-woman shop, so please always check the website for current lead times before committing to your order. I currently anticipate a lead time of ~6-8 weeks, although actual send times will vary within that window as I will send them out as I complete them. High traffic periods may see lead times up to 10-14 weeks

How do I care for my book?

These books are designed to be read and loved! However, to extend the natural life of your new rebind please refrain from chucking it at a wall or using it as a coaster and consider taking the following precautions:

Keep your book in a cool, dry environment and out of direct sunlight.

Dust your books and bookshelf regularly

Handle with clean hands as oils from your hands, lotions, hand sanitizers, etc., may result in marks, finger prints, or varnishing on your cover

Handle gently when sliding the book in and out of your book shelf so as not to scratch the surface or damage the spine.

It is recommended to store your book upright between books on your book shelf. Prolonged periods of having your cover face out can result in text block sagging over time.

If your cover does become smudged use a microfiber towel to gently buff the surface.

Can I commission a custom rebind?

Custom orders are coming soon but are not currently offered.

Prices for custom commissions will vary based on materials, design, and processes. I will work hand-in-hand with you to make sure the design is exact

Can I mail you my books to rebind?

Unfortunately, I am unable to perform this service at this time. I hope to be able to do this in the near future but I am currently not set up to accept your personal books to rebind. All rebinds will be done on new books that I order from reputable sellers.
